Barbara Biel is an American artist. The primary focus of her current work purposely infuses natural landscapes with colors that turn each canvas into a modern mystery of spirit. These selected works are a combination of abstract expressionistic and intimate informal. They have gracefully emerged from her exploration of a connection between the Divine Eternal and our humanity.
Biel's artistic discipline spans over four decades. Studies between 1975 and 1981 include BFA, Studio Painting (Univ. of TX, Austin), the Art Students League with Theadore Stamos (New York, NY) and art history at the Glassel School of Art (Houston, TX). Biel's work is featured in private and corporate collections throughout the country.
